session at Kampong Fish Therapy. Nice interiors. Really like Kampong. Got the oldskool kinda feel.
We filled out some forms declaring our feet to be open-wound free and were then ushered to a few warm-water taps to soap up and rinse from the knee down.
We got our own little corner at the back so that was nice !
Hot green tea was served as we entered our little walled-off tank.
Once you get your feet in, they just start charging. I was so scared I'd step on one of the little buggers as I made my way to the corner.
Initial feeling is like getting poked at with alot of tiny needles and then like having a low electric current being buzzed through your legs.
They especially liked getting IN-BETWEEN my toes for some strange reason. Very ticklish ! I think they were trying to tell me to scrub between my toes.
Must say it felt relaxing just sitting there.
After about 15 mins, we got out to get our feet scrubbed. Loosen up more of that fish food.
There was one fish that just wouldn't go near me or Grumpy.
It was perfectly content to be parked on Grumpy's sister. Amazing how it could still identify her even after we shuffled around.
A big bloody sucker. Must be the Alpha Fish or something.
After the session we got moisturised and given a ba-zhang each. Grumpy was raving about it over lunch at Pasta de Waraku. He could not stop rubbing his feet, seriously.
He says next time he wants to do the whole body. I told him they bite your balls then you know .
