Reached there at about 1400h so we had roughly 3½ hours before the shuttle departed back to the city.
I think it's important to plan your route, know what animal shows you're going for and their feeding times etc etc. However Grumpy just wanted to get on with it. So many a time, I was left standing around with the map in my hands trying to figure out if it was quicker through 'Cat Country' or round the 'Australian Outback'
Anyway, I have not walked that much in a LONG time.
The highlight, most definately, was the kangaroo feeding at $5 a pop
It may look like I am feeding a llama but I can assure you it is an Eastern Grey Kangaroo.
It was horribly tame and oh so cute. Too bad there were no koalas
