Here's to Heath

With all the hype surrounding Heath's sudden death earlier this year, I really wanted to see his last role as the Joker in The Dark Knight.

He was every bit as menacing, chilling and ruthless as all the critics claimed.

Did you know that to prepare for the role, Ledger lived alone in a hotel room for a month, formulating the character's posture, voice and psychology, and kept a diary, in which he recorded the Joker's thoughts and feelings to guide himself during his performance.

Imagine that ! I can't even begin to fathom what that would be like. I have alot of new-found respect for him.

I remember him fondly as Mel Gibson's son in The Patriot.

He was one of the few A-list Aussies that made it big in Hollywood.

So talented.

How tragic that he died so young.
