guitar hero fail

Have always wanted to rent guitar hero at emax. Tried it out once on ps3 at sony style wisma. Damn fun

Emax lent out the wii version to us. Mum bought a wii for Dad's 56th. Some music game she thought he'd like. Dad says he don't play it much (at all) and I don't blame him - so borring. haha

Anyway, at emax we couldn't set up the bloody console. Didn't know you had to take the remote out of the guitar and sync it. After one of the staff accessed the game for us, the pointer kept running all over the place. We then found that a group of boys behind us were fiddling with our game and using their controls to mess around.

Not only that, the console kept resetting randomly like every 5 minutes.

Had a hunch them boys were behind it and I was frustrated enough having to pay to fiddle around with the remotes.

Returned the equipment and demanded a refund. At first the girl refused. Had to explain to her quite a few times that there was no way I was paying for something I didn't play.

Ugh. Never again. Shall stick to l4d. Am also very happy I was not given a wii for my birthday. Thank you Grumpy ! xoxo

Game shop at AMK Hub had a copy of theme hospital for me !!

They were the only shop who had it after I searched 10 others. How lucky am I ??!

I remember playing this ages ago on playstation.

I really want to play it again but am unable to find a full version I can download. SAD

Even installed some rubbish software in order to be eligible to download it but it didn't work. No surprise.

So now am very tempted to just buy the damn thing from amazon.

Also partly because Grumpy keeps hogging the PS3 @#$^!! - Gone are the days when I was the computer game geek and he was the curious onlooker who wasn't interested in gaming whatsoever.

Was worried it wouldn't arrive on time.
But it did and I was relieved.

For what is a birthday without a birthday gift ?


During the design phase, Grumpy mentioned I shouldn't put a reminder of Ah Poh on the last page since it's supposed to be a birthday gift - therfore only HAPPY thoughts but I thought she would be touched since she never really had any photos of her anyway. Dad agreed and said I was thoughtful. It made her tear.

labour day weekend

I've never had highlights. Mostly because I hate the idea of touching up the re-growth every 6-8 weeks.

Was tired of my hair. Wanted a change so opted for highlights underneath such that even if it grew out, the roots wouldn't be visible.

An impossible feat to do by myself, I enlisted the help of Grumpy who pretty much knew what he was in for as soon as I opened my mouth.

Grumpy does not take instruction well. In fact, he didn't take my instruction at all. We argued over how to make use of the foil. Even after showing him the most widely used method, he insisted on rolling it up and then scrunching it into little foil balls that made me look like a christmas tree. I don't know why he couldn't have just folded it up nicely and neatly.

After an hour of pulling my long face , I washed it out. And I must say I kinda like it.
